"Where do you start with Dave and the biker battle tours!! Its very difficult to leave a review with only a few words to say as this is such a massive subject. Dave has a massive detailed knowledge of this subject and all aspects of war, weapons and battle history, also the esential gift of telling a good story. A good tour guide needs to be able to tell a good story like it was!! getting you hooked and making you feel like you were there !! That is Davids gift!! Anyone that is lucky enough to get to go on one of Daves biker battlefield tour trips will remember it for the rest of there life. Be prepared to laugh loads ,learn to understand things that really happened and have a safe and very well organised ride to remember. I look forward to my 4th tour in 2011"

"Dave has such an extensive knowledge of military history, and his abilty to impart this is fun and very informative.
He is always respectful with the facts and all the little details make it a must for any fan of Military history, always very humbling to hear of the sacrifices made by the service men involved.
Highly reccomended!"

"I have been on several military tours with Dave and I can genuiely state that you will not meet a more committed, knowledgeable, and humerous person to take you on a tour it's action packed from the moment you wake up, his knowledge on anything war related in my opinion is second to none making your time spent with him engrossing and fun."

"Derbyshire ACF took a party of Adults and Cadets to the dedication of a Sherwood Foresters Memorial erected at the Tyne Cot Cemetery in Belgium on the Passchendale Ridge in memory of the 11,409 men of the Sherwood Foresters who died on active service on the Western Front during the Great War.
Dave was the tour guide for the event and provided detailed information packs supplemented with in depth briefings. His enthusiasm and knowledge about the battlefields and the events that took place is excellent. His ability to quote facts and figures and produce extracts from journals and publications also adds to the experience. He spends time on research prior to any tour to ensure that each one is unique and a memorable experience. The feedback from the cadets was very complementary and thanks to Dave's attention to detail all who attended the tour enjoyed a very thought provoking and enjoyable weekend. Dave is highly recommended as a tour guide and we will certainly use him to host battlefield tours for the cadets in the future."

"I have been on many battlefield tours with Dave, each one is unique, exciting and the facts and stories very interesting.
Last year we visited a location and Dave produced WW2 items loaned from a family friend. He told the story of the soldier who the items belonged to and his experiences during the war making it all very personal and meaningful.
Dave is very knowledgeable, has a good sense of humour and is the best tour guide. Highly recommended."
